An Ode to Chockylit!

Bless you Chockylit!  Bless you!  I've been drooling over your recipes for some time now, and have been trying out a few of the ones that most peaked my interest.  (I have only a million left to go...)

First up was the Horchata Cupcake Experiment

These were delicious - I think I'd make them more cinnamony (is that a word?) next round, but I really enjoyed them.  I love Horchata and couldn't resist trying this out.  Doesn't Horchata remind you of the milk left in your bowl after finishing up your Cinnamon Toast Crunch?  

Next up were the very tasty Caramel Apple Cupcakes 

They were so good, but absolute murder on my dental work.  I have a facial implant for my front teeth, so I'm a bit more sensitive than most people.  I eventually ended up taking the topping off and eating that separately.  Very tasty!

and then there were the Cherry Vanilla Cupcakes

I didn't even get to try them!!!  They were so beautiful and looked so good.  I made them for a bake sale at Miss Alayna's school.  Marty and Alayna dropped them off, and then went back to buy one 10 minutes later, but they were already gone!!!  Good news for the bake sale, bad news for Alayna since she wanted one.  I have promised though that I will make them again for her.  =)

Methinks the next up will be the Pomegranate-Grapefruit Cupcakes (located on the same page as the Cherry Vanilla).  I can't resist a pomegranate!
